All our living spaces benefit from state of the art mattresses, duvets, linen and pillows. All rooms feature a king size bed or two twin beds, a travel cot may be placed in rooms for infants, plus an additional pull out bed for an additional adult or child. All rooms are fully air-conditioning in summer, and heated in winter. Bathrooms feature power rain showers. Fresh hot beverages are served all through the day for our guests' indulgences.
Rakkh Resort is built on the slopes of verdant Kangri hills with least impact to the hillside and thus scattered across the property as the topology allows creating a sense of exclusivity and privacy.
This has translated into some steep climbs albeit on all-weather ramps rendering it slightly challenging to access for older and differently-abled guests. Yet we go beyond to accommodate everyone.
Life in the hills is difficult and the greatest arsenal for coping in this difficult terrain is an active social life and community engagement.
We promote this ethos amongst our guests. Hence we do not offer in-room dining, as breaking bread together is a great bonding experience.
Being in the lap of nature affords our guests the perfect opportunity for deep communion with oneself and nature.
To enable this we have consciously made some choices, including the absence of
in-room entertainment such as TV and internet. Although WiFi will be available in common areas for pressing work if any.
This place is AWESOME.
The cottages are relaxing, comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities.
The kitchen/restaurant staff is very forthcoming and accommodating: they made sure even our two picky kids had a good meal. All the staff is very helpful and welcoming - from room service/cleaning to activities monitors.
And the activities… I wish all resorts/ hotels had such a variety of things to do for both kids and adults. Walks, hikes, climbing, riding, pottery, weaving, all sort of other sports activities that you can do at the site. Impressive and very well thought of.
Should we go back to Himachal Pradesh I don’t think we would stay anywhere else, but at Rakkh.
Experience beyond imagination.
Might fall short of words to express the experience. It's pure serenity in the lap of mother Nature. Away from regular hustle bustle of modern life, you tend to reinvent yourself. Awesome place, beautiful concept mingled with pure love from every team member makes it a heavenly abode.
It was my first time in this resort. I had gone there with my sister who was visiting from US. We all enjoyed the location with great view of the valley.. The staff were very personable and we felt very much at home. During the 3 day stay we enjoyed their hospitality. Starting from general manager Swati and the rest of the staff including Sandeep, Sunny, Rohit, Anil, Kamal, both the chefs were always there to your needs with a smile. We had great experiences sky biking, trekking, pottery making and weaving. I would recommend this to all my friends.
Thanks again to all the staff🌹
The birds have vanished down the sky.
Now the last cloud drains away.
We sit together, the mountain and me,
until only the mountain remains.
