Rakkh is located on a hill-top amidst natural and pleasing surroundings away from the town area. We follow strict safety and cleanliness protocols and post COVID-19, we are extra diligent in following such protocols. Our cottages are well-spaced for privacy. Post COVID-19, our spread-out cottages provide natural social distancing.

We are committed to provide a safe and “clinically clean” environment for our guests and staff. Guests’ safety while staying with us is our assurance and we are regularly following instructions from government and health organization.

Additional safety measures taken by us post COVID-19 include:

1. We follow traditional “namaste” to greet and welcome you.
2. Alcohol-based sanitizer dispensers at entrance, reception, common restrooms, restaurant and in every cottage.
3. All guests, staff members, suppliers and visitors are temperature screened at entry. We are directed to inform health authorities if the temperature is beyond 98.6 F.
4. All supplies & materials coming in resort is sanitized. Guests' luggage is also sanitized.
5. Regular staff training for hygiene & distancing and hygiene audit by senior staff is conducted.
6. Face masks mandatory for all staff members, guests, suppliers & visitors.
7. Hospital grade disinfectants are used for cleaning floors & all exposed surfaces/touch-points.

Check-in & out:

1. Safety & hygiene information card is provided to guests.
2. Contactless check-in is followed.
3. E-payment and e-bill is preferred at checkout. If card is used, it is disinfected before & after use.

Kitchen & Restaurant:
1. Fruits, vegetables, meat, groceries and other kitchen ingredients & surfaces are disinfected.
2. Distant and well-spaced seating in restaurants.
3. Tables, chairs & tableware is disinfected thoroughly.

1. DIY cleaning kit (disinfectant wipes/sanitizer) in each cottage for guests’ use, if they wish to use.
2. Linen and towels are changed only on request by guests to limit exposure.

Activities & experiences:
1. No activities are clubbed with other guests.
2. All equipment & toys are thoroughly disinfected after every use.

Guest transport:
1. Vehicle is thoroughly disinfected before pick-up.
2. Driver wears mask & gloves throughout and limits conversation to minimal.
3. Sanitizer and mask is available for guests use if needed.

Covid-19 update- Extended cancellation policy:
( Applicable upto 01 Oct 2021)  

Our request to you #postponedontcancel: As you are aware, the hospitality industry has been impacted very severely and is facing an existential crisis. Rakkh Resort also impacts the local community and our priority is to continue paying the staff & local suppliers through this tough time, so that the situation does not magnify at a humanitarian level. Therefore, in line with the industry’s appeal #postponedontcancel, we request you to consider postponing your stay at Rakkh Resort, instead of a cancellation. By not insisting on a refund right now, you will help us and the tourism industry to navigate through this tough time.

• Credit notes with a validity of 6 months will be issued for guests happen to be Covid Positive before their travel
• Full refund, net of bank charges, if travel cannot be completed due to government/ local authorities written order or due to state government's imposed lock-down
• Refund of 100% of total invoice amount net of bank charges, on Cancellation 15 days or more before the original arrival date
• Refund of 50% of total invoice amount, net of bank charges, on Cancellation between 2-14 before the original arrival date
• No refund on Cancellation 48 hours before the original arrival date
