At Rakkh we believe in stories as the building block of our universe. Here we are sharing a small one about how we came by the name for Rakkh. ‘Rakha’ in Pahari means hill-top which is where Rakkh is located. ‘Rabb rakha’ is a famous and hearty blessing from the planes of Punjab which has considerable influence on the life and culture of Himachal. Rabb rakha means may God keep you well. Rakh, incidentally, is also the village close by. So all these considerations went into calling the mountain paradise we built as Rakkh, the abode of the Gods.
