Post lockdown people have left the confines of their homes for a break from the stress and anxiety that arises from this pandemic. The state has opened the gates for tourists and relaxed all restrictions on interstate travel. The ‘corona curfew’ is relaxed for Himachal where stores will be open from 9 am to 8 pm, and all restaurants can be open till 10 pm. All passengers visiting Himachal Pradesh via air will have to go through thermal screenings on arrival. No quarantine or mandatory Covid test is required for entering the state. However, registering on the Arogya Setu app is mandatory for all visitors.

People travelling to Himachal Pradesh by rail won’t need an e-pass anymore. The thermal screening will be done on all necessary entry points to the state. It is advised to carry one’s own clean linens while travelling via train especially for long journeys.

E-Pass has been made mandatory for people visiting the state via road and Interstate transport buses are to occupy only fifty percent of passenger capacity. Violation of Covid guidelines like roaming without a mask will result in a fine of up to INR 5000 or even imprisonment in the state.

Indoor gatherings should not exceed 50 people; however not more than 100 people can be gathered in outdoor meetings or events.
