Paragliding:<\/strong> Bir is not only the most famous paragliding spot in India but also the center of the International Paragliding World Cup. At 8000 ft above sea level is the take-off site and the landing site is at 4300 ft. The flight time would be around 15-30 minutes. The perfect time for paragliding is from October to June.<\/p>

Hang-Gliding:<\/strong> Hand-gliding is another sport for adventure seekers. Billing(14 km) is the launchpad for the hand gliders and Bir is the landing site.A training program is available for interested people in the Aero Sports Complex of Bir, which is run by the HTDC.<\/p>

Mountain Biking:<\/strong> Bir will give many opportunities to explore the Dhauldhar Ranges on a bike. Biking in the lap of nature through the valley, dense forests and mountains will rejuvenate you and your spirits.<\/p>

28 km drive and 6 km Trek to Tatani hot water spring: A natural hot sulfur spring is a major tourist attraction. The water is known to provide relief from pain in joints, fatigue, anxiety, stress and also cure skin disease.<\/p>

Camping:<\/strong> Camp under clear blue sky with panoramic view, music, bonfire, and food and make camping a beautiful experience<\/a>.<\/p>

Hike to Gunehar River Pool:<\/strong> Hiking in the Gunehar will lead to a beautiful waterfall at a height of 100ft. The hike is in itself an experience<\/a>.<\/p>

Hike to Bangoru Waterfalls:<\/strong> A 4 km trek will lead to the lovely Bangoru Waterfalls which is surrounded by the gorgeous view of mountains.<\/p>

Chokling Monastery, Chaugan:<\/strong> Don\u2019t miss visiting this monastery and watching the sunrise from here and slowly slip into meditation.<\/p>

Dzongsar Khyentse:<\/strong> Learn about Buddhism in Dzongsar Khyentse. This beautiful monastery is home to over 500 monks. Enroll in meditation sessions conducted periodically.<\/p>

Deer Park:<\/strong> Very different from its name, Deer Park is actually an institute that teaches ancient Indian wisdom traditions by conducting workshops for Yoga and well-being.<\/p>
