The incredibly beautiful Dhauladhar National Park is situated in the Gopalpur village, in the Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh, India. The park has been named after the village and is also called as Gopalpur National park or the Gopalpur Zoo.It is surrounded by the magnificent and powerful Dhauladhar Range of mighty Himalayas. The Dhauladhar zoo is adorned with many maple trees, chestnut trees, and has a lot of greenery in the zoo. The zoo is the home to various species of stunning birds and animals. The main tourist attractions of the park are a pair of lions, a leopard, a Himalayan black bear, Sambar deer, many wild pigs, Grey Bhutanese Peacocks and vultures and eagles.<\/p>

The timings of the Dhauladhar National Park are from 9 am to 5 pm respectively. The summer temperature in the national park range from 8 degrees celsius to over 30 degrees celsius whereas in the winter season, the temperature ranges from negative ten degrees celsius to ten degrees celsius. The best time to visit the Dhauladhar National Park in the year is between the months of September to June. It is not advised to visit the park during the rainy season as the monsoons are quite heavy in this region.\u00a0<\/p>
