Famous Lakes in Himachal Pradesh

Suraj Tal is the 21st-highest  lake in the world and the third-highest lake in India.

Prashar Lake is located close to a thirteenth-century, three-story pagoda honouring the sage Prashar, 49 kilometres north  of Mandi.

The Chamera Lake, which is  a unit of the Chamera Hydroelectric Project, is located at a height of 763 metres over the Ravi River.

Around 4,300 metres above sea level is where Chandra Taal  is located. It is one of India’s  two wetlands with the  greatest elevation.
